I am not here to judge, my purpose is to help you select the best breed for your needs, and your family's needs, and I can assist you with this decision. My objective is that the owner and the pet are a "great match" and that both humans and animals will be assured of many years of sharing, companionship, and love.*
A special note on this service from the Executive Director of
VIP Concierge Pet Care Services in Israel®
Dear Clients and Future Clients:
My
love for domestic pets, especially dogs, goes as far back as I can
remember, although I didn't at first pursue a career in the animal
field. However, after I left the corporate world in 1991, I happily
switched careers to include the entire spectrum of pet-related and
domestic animal care. In 1993, I opened up "The West Side Dog Spa" which became a thriving Dog Grooming and Day-Care facility. We were one of the first in New York City to offer Day-Care for Dogs, and the first such
establishment to offer Aromatherapy and Holistic Spa Treatments for the
dogs and cats that came to us for bathing and grooming. "The West Side
Dog Spa" was interviewed for TV and radio, and was profiled in many
leading newspapers and publications, and not just for readers in the USA,
but in publications that reached readers globally, as well.
During that time, I was also attending classes in Veterinary-health
care and practices. I became duly licensed by the New York Board of
Health to operate a Grooming and Boarding Facility. In addition, I
attended several continuing education classes that were directly
related to Small Animal Veterinary Care and Veterinary Emergency
Procedures.
All
was going splendidly until January 2, 1999 when I was informed by the
City of New York that the building in which we rented space was being
torn down. We were asked to vacate by March 30, 1999. I hurried to
find another location in which we could move into, but found it impossible
as commercial rents had skyrocketed since the time I had first opened my
business, and there wasn't a neighborhood location that we were able to afford where our
loyal and established clientèle could continue bringing their pets. I
really felt it was the end of the world for me. However, and since I
had a huge following on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, my own
Veterinarian quickly hired me (as not t
o let the competition get to me
first!) and brought me to work for Riverside Animal Hospital. There, I
quickly worked my way up to Senior Exam Room Nurse and Veterinary
Nurse/Assistant. I left that job for one reason, and one reason only,
and that was to make Aliyah to Israel. Therefore, I bring with me to
this country a wealth of knowledge, and experience related to Professional Pet-Care
and Veterinary Nursing. - D'vorah Joy Hoffmann-Mazor
